How To Finish Your Freshly Poured Concrete:

• Spread - push and pull the wet concrete using a square shovel or a come-along tool.
• Screed - grade the surface by removing excess concrete. Level the surface until smooth using a screed tool .
• Floating - we level swells using a darby or bull float, we also fill voids and slightly embed the mix allowing bleed water to dissipate.
• Edge the slab - When the bleed water has been removed, we round the perimeter of the slab with an edger.
• Groove in joints - we prevent unwanted future cracks by jointing the slab using a groover tool .
• Troweling the surface - we use a steel trowel or fresno tool to achieve a clean, smooth, dense surface, . Dragging with a broom will leave your concrete in a textured or decorative finish.
